Prime Minister Abe’s resignation

The prime minister was examined at Keio University Hospital on March 17 and 24. There were whispers that he was not feeling well as he has a chronic illness of ulcerative colitis. A senior member of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) said, “His chronic illness seems to have worsened, but he’s recovering. His resignation is unlikely.

 

I was also surprised because I thought it wasn’t something I was going to step down from.
I’m worried about the future.

 

TSE down 600 yen at one point.

On August 28, the Nikkei 225 Stock Average (225) briefly dropped over 600 yen on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
